CALL FOR BIPOC ARTISTS

The AMC is searching for local BIPOC Artists interested in both Puppetry and Performance.

PUPPETRY: In the coming months, the AMC will be producing our New Myths, Leah & the Rabbit and An Appalachian Christmas Carol, as well as workshopping future New Myths. We are not necessarily looking for experienced puppeteers. We are in search of storytellers, actors, musicians, dancers, and curious humans. Our work focuses in the intersection of artistry and activism. Please peruse our New Myth section for examples of our past shows.

PERFORMANCE: In the coming months, the AMC is partnering with Different Strokes! Performing Arts Collective in a new play development initiative for Emerging Black Playwrights called A Different Myth. Part of this program are private and public readings of the new works. If you have experience in acting or are looking for an arena to dip your toe in performing, we are looking for you. Please peruse our A Different Myth section for more information on the program and the playwrights.
